It is always surprising the difference a few months make.  Three months ago, this field was absolutely devoid of vegetation.  Now the weeds are over six foot high and you can only walk through the tunnels that dog walkers (and the deer) have created.

After the really nice spell of weather we have been having, it eventually broke today.  Wakened at 6am with thunder and lightning and by 7am the roads were awash and the drains struggling to cope...Typical Scottish weather

The dog needed his own shelter today as the temperature topped 30 degs.  Everything was so still with little air movement. Lets not complain, it will probably snow tomorrow.

This warm spell has lasted a few days now and is wonderful.  Monday and we have the kids so paddling pool, water bombs, building go carts, a trip to the park and blowing bubbles were the order of the day.

Phil and I had a walk along to the Treetops Hotel to look at the "super cars" on display.  There were some very nice example of top end engineering amongst the Ferraris, Audis, Aston Martins, Porsche and Mercedes.  But surely it is this badge that identifies the real super car!

The weather is back to glorious again and the garden is looking good.  Even the garden ornaments take on a life of their own when the sun shines.
