2026. Now into my 13th year of sharing a daily photo. Once again I issue a health warning, (disclaimer) that the my efforts may not all be technically perfect or, indeed, artistic but they are a little flavour of my day and just caught my eye. To all those that check in every so often, enjoy and feel free to add any comments you may have.

Time for a pig. Wonder who it was that thought...."I know, we could make an oven timer in the shape of a pig...and paint it pink!" There are some warped minds out there.

Mobile phones - they do more now than just make and receive calls. You just have to ask what we did before we had them. Now they have more computing capacity in them than some of the early computer systems that ran major corporations back in the 70's and 80's. Just makes you wonder what lies ahead for our grandchildren?

There might be snow on the ground but the new growth in the plants is trying to get through. Our daffodils are not yet in bud, but last week when I was down in the south of England there were daffodils in bloom.

In commemoration of the winning of gold medals at the 2012 London Olympics, the post office painted a post box gold in the home town of winning athletes. This is one of two gold post boxes in Westhill, Aberdeenshire.

My turn for school run this morning. Isn't it amazing how a group of six year olds trading trashcan monsters look like a group of old men deep in discussion....or is it a group of penguins...you decide.

Took the dog for a walk in the woods today and came across the deer family. Always nice to meet them particularly with all the building work going on round about us.
